Resort
Duni Royal Resort

Location
Hotel Pelican sits in the highest part of Duni Royal Resort, 7.5 km south of Sozopol and 5.5 km from Arkutino. Burgas Airport is about 50 km away and Sofia Airport about 430 km. A bus stop is at the complex’s central checkpoint, close to Belleville.

Beach
The sandy beach lies about 400 m from the hotel. The sea floor is flat with a smooth, gentle entry. Umbrellas, sun loungers, showers, changing rooms and towels on the beach are included in the stay.

Accommodation
Built in 1989 and renovated in 2009, Hotel Pelican is a four-storey building with 238 units and two elevators. Rooms have carpet or tile flooring. Central air conditioning/heating in the rooms operates from 15 June to 15 September.

Aquapark
Duni Royal Resort’s aqua park is included for Pelican guests and operates from 1 June to 15 September, typically 10:00–12:30 and 14:30–18:00. It features six slides: a 74.20 m slide (minimum height 110 cm), Kamikaze 33.15 m (110 cm), three multi-slides of 33.15 m (120 cm) and a Black Hole of 79.20 m (110 cm).

Pools
Guests use four swimming complexes across Duni Royal Resort, including children’s pools, with showers, umbrellas, sunbeds and beach towels. Pelican guests do not use the outdoor and indoor pools of Marina Royal Palace.

About the Hotel
Hotel Pelican is part of Duni Royal Resort and shares the resort’s dining and leisure map. The main restaurant is Burgas. À-la-carte venues include Bulgarian Mehana and Italian Milanese (in Belleville). There is a pool bar, a café-pastry shop, a disco bar, a snack bar and a sandwich station on the beach. The resort also offers an aqua park (1 June–15 September), Mini Club at Marina Beach, an amphitheatre with evening shows, an outdoor disco and a conference hall for up to 40 people. Four swimming complexes with children’s pools serve the resort. Pelican guests may use open facilities throughout Duni Royal Resort except Marina Royal Palace (its main restaurant, lobby bar, and outdoor and indoor pools).

Sports and Activities
Sport and entertainment are spread across Duni Royal Resort: ten tennis courts (three hard tartan and seven artificial grass with quartz sand), table tennis, archery, stretching, body balance, body combat, tabata, dance aerobics, water aerobics and step aerobics, beach volleyball and beach soccer, an outdoor gym, aqua splash, water polo, dance courses, Zumba, capoeira, boccia and club dancing. Themed parties take place at the beach and aqua park. Animation runs six days a week (day off Sunday). Evening shows are staged at the amphitheatre; there is an outdoor disco at Holiday Village.

SPA and Wellness
A SPA centre at Marina Royal Palace offers fitness, massages and beauty treatments (hair, manicure and similar). A sauna is available within the resort sports and wellness offer.

Accessibility
Because of the hilly terrain and distances between buildings, Duni Royal Resort is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Adapted rooms are available at Marina Royal Palace and Marina Beach, not at Pelican itself.

Babies and Occupancy
One infant up to 1.99 years may stay above the maximum occupancy of the room without an extra bed or cot. A baby cot is free of charge upon prior request.

Pets
Pets are not allowed at the hotel.

Notes
Depending on weather, some facilities may operate only partially or close at the start or end of the season. The hotel reserves the right to change the All Inclusive programme. A birth certificate or passport must be presented for all children at check-in.

DBL 2+1/DBL 2+0/SGL
A compact double of about 23 sq.m with a balcony — two single beds that can be joined and an armchair bed, cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Maximum occupancy 3 adults (or 2 adults plus children within the bed count). The 2+0 option is the same room without the extra bed in use.

DBL 2+1 SIDE SEA/DBL 2+0 SIDE SEA/SGL SIDE SEA
About 23 sq.m with a side-sea-view balcony. Two single beds that can be joined and an armchair bed, cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Maximum occupancy 3 adults. The 2+0 option is the same room without the extra bed in use.

JUNIOR SUITE 2+2/JUNIOR SUITE 3+1/JUNIOR SUITE 2+3
A spacious one-room junior suite of about 26–36 sq.m with balcony. Two twin beds that can be joined and a sitting area with two armchair extra beds (70x140). Cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Minimum occupancy 2 adults. Combinations include 2 adults + 2 children, 2 adults + 3 children, or 3 adults + 1 child (a small number of rooms have an extra regular bed for three adults). Armchair extras are intended for children.

JUNIOR SUITE 2+2 SIDE SEA/JUNIOR SUITE 3+1 SIDE SEA/JUNIOR SUITE 2+3 SIDE SEA
The same junior-suite layout (about 26–36 sq.m) with a side-sea-view balcony: twins that can be joined, two armchair extra beds, cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Minimum 2 adults; maximum 2 adults + 3 children or 3 adults + 1 child according to the sold combination.

1-BR SUITE 2+2/1-BR SUITE 3+1/1-BR SUITE 2+3
Two adjoining rooms of about 33–38 sq.m separated by a connecting door: bedroom with a double bed and living room with a double sofa bed, plus balcony. Cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Minimum 2 adults; maximum 2 adults + 3 children or 3 adults + 1 child depending on the combination.

1-BR SUITE 2+2 POOL/1-BR SUITE 3+1 POOL/1-BR SUITE 2+3 POOL
The same two-room suite (about 33–38 sq.m) with a pool-facing balcony: double bed in the bedroom, double sofa bed in the living room, connecting door, cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Minimum 2 adults; maximum 2 adults + 3 children or 3 adults + 1 child.

JUNIOR SUITE 2+2 VIP SEA/JUNIOR SUITE 3+1 VIP SEA/JUNIOR SUITE 2+3 VIP SEA
VIP sea junior suite of about 32–36 sq.m — slightly larger, with more luxurious furnishing and a separate sleeping niche. Two twins that can be joined, sitting area with two armchair extra beds, balcony, cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer; safe at extra charge. Minimum 2 adults; maximum 2 adults + 3 children or 3 adults + 1 child.


 

Check-in
Check-in is after 14:00. All Inclusive starts with lunch on the arrival day.

Check-out
Check-out is before 11:30. All Inclusive ends with breakfast on the departure day.

Breakfast
Buffet breakfast in restaurant Burgas, 07:30–10:00: hot and cold dishes, egg specialities, dairy, meats and cheeses, bakery, cereals and fruit. Late breakfast 10:00–11:00 with a reduced selection (All Inclusive).

Lunch
Buffet lunch in Burgas, 12:30–14:30: salads and soups, local and international dishes, vegetarian and meat options, pasta, bread and dessert; ice cream at lunch. Sandwich Corner 11:30–18:00. Snack restaurant La Brise on the beach 12:30–16:00. Coffee and sweets at the pool bar 16:00–17:00 (All Inclusive).

Dinner
Buffet dinner in Burgas, 19:00–21:30: salads and soups, local and international dishes, vegetarian and meat options, pasta, bread and dessert; ice cream at dinner (All Inclusive).

Drinks
All Inclusive covers local alcoholic, soft and hot drinks at the listed bars during their opening hours.

Restaurants
Buffet meals are served in main restaurant Burgas. Snack restaurant La Brise on the beach operates for snacks. À-la-carte restaurants Mehana (Bulgarian) and Milanese (Italian, in Belleville) are available to all complex guests with prior reservation; they are extra charge for Pelican guests (once per stay, minimum 7 nights) Pelican guests do not use the main restaurant of Marina Royal Palace.
